Introduction to NameAsteroids

Nameasteroids offer an entirely new lens on relational astrology, one that goes far beyond synastry and composite charts. Their meanings aren’t decorative or optional. They carry a different kind of transmission. In my work, I focus on the alchemical process inherent to each nameasteroid, decoding new manuals to help others navigate relational chaos, uncertainty, challenges, coincidence, and synchronicity. Where we once had no adequate language for the uncanny, like “they moved to the place I just left” or “everything points back to them in signs and omens”, nameasteroids begin to map these previously untranslated dimensions with sharp accuracy and often, a reality slap.

Demetra George laid the foundation by bringing the nameasteroids into collective awareness. I now took it steps further. As far as I know, I’m the only astrologer using nameasteroids as a primary method, replacing all previous approaches to relational astrology.

I’ll offer new definitions for the astrological wheel once this project reaches completion. Some of these might surprise you, like the discovery that the wheel is asymmetrical, or that degrees are protocols. Until then, I’ll be sharing the foundational insights that have emerged through years of ongoing, daily analysis.

If you wish to share anything from this page, please credit my work accordingly.

You can find and check the nameasteroids in your chart via Astro.com

At first glance, you might notice striking coincidences, like someone’s name placement matching their Sun sign, or a name appearing in the house that mirrors their role in your life, such as a family member’s name landing in your 4th house. But it’s never that simple.

Our horoscope is the book of life. The houses are its chapters, each containing subchapters, and within those, system rules are encoded by degree. These degrees form a fixed protocol, they determine what must be experienced in order for the sign to evolve. Importantly, it is always the house that activates first. And within the domain of that house, we are invited to walk the alchemical path of the sign toward its highest ascension.

The patterns nameasteroids reveal go far beyond generic astrology, offering both symbolic and literal manifestations of how names imprint themselves on our emotional and life path. Exploring them isn’t just about validation or the thrill of coincidence, it’s about uncovering the manual for our relationships with others and with ourselves.

Think of it like this:
Everything that is born is a seed. Our birth chart is the seed of our future. To truly understand your evolutionary path, you must first look within. Traditional synastry compares charts, but it doesn’t reveal the precise conditions or narrative arc of your relational story. It offers too much information without narrowing down to a single, embodied truth. Through nameasteroids, a complete storyline can be revealed, one that unfolds from beginning to end. To work with nameasteroids, requires containment of uncomfortable truths. Details matter, and that is what these seemingly small spacedust particles force us to acknowledge.

IMPORTANT : The interpretations provided on this webpage don’t scratch the surface of their actual meaning, and are therefore basic. In depth information, guidance, insights, solutions,… will be provided in the nameasteroid book to protect my work.

The basics of the NameAsteroids

NameasteroidParticipant in the story.
HouseFrequency fields that generate and respond to specific circumstances.
Chapters that have fixed subchapters, describing relational processes and tests.
“Where”. The area of life where the relational story unfolds.
SignAlchemical process that unfolds with fixed steps.
Behavioral dynamics, the development of the sign in response to the name.
“How”
Inner PlanetPersonal catalysts. Stimulates parts of the personal psyche.
Outer PlanetStructural forces. Operates beyond our control. Imposers or dissolvers of structure, shaking or awakening us.
AsteroidsTransitional pressure points. Soul-level tests and passages.
AnglesIdentity activator
AspectRelational contact points through which energy enters, triggers, tests, alters, or imprints.
DegreeFixed gates into lived experience with fixed imprints
Protocols, system rules, laws.
“What” and “Why”
RulerOutcome. How the story unfolds and what it ultimately leaves behind.

Soft Aspects = Sextiles and Trines
Indicate ease, resonance, or natural flow between the name and the planet, angle, or asteroid. These people tend to enable, support, or subtly shape the function they touch. The activation is often gentle, inherited, or soul-assisting.

Hard Aspects = Squares and Oppositions
Create tension, friction, or polarity. The person usually triggers, tests, or challenges the function they contact. These aspects are more likely to catalyze transformation, conflict, or growth through discomfort.

Conjunctions = Direct Fusion
The name becomes the function. There is no separation. The person embodies the planetary or symbolic force entirely, either as ignition, possession, or fusion. Most identity-altering.

Minor Aspects = Quincunx, Semisextile
Act as background pressures or subtle nudges. They often reflect misalignment, karmic tweaks, or time-sensitive triggers. Their influence is real but less dominant, often activating under specific conditions or stages of life.

• Use tight orbs : 0-4 degrees

The ruler of the Nameasteroid acts as an agent or intermediary. It provides deeper insight into the foundation, nature, and impact of the connection, revealing what themes or lessons are activated through their presence as well as the outcome.

Nameasteroids announce their entrance into our life through ‘coincidence’. Before we meet them, circumstances align to make it possible. So in essence, nameasteroids are the gateway to be “ahead of fate”, but with that, comes responsibility.

Nameasteroids are highly applicable in transits and solar returns.

Nameasteroids are interwoven with the natal promise. Therefore significant relationships are often connected to ‘difficult’ placements in the natal chart, such as the northnode, signs whose ruler is challenged, houses with difficult placements or association with 0° or 29°,…
However, it is advised to consider the Natal promise first before judging or making any assumptions.

If you can’t find the name you’re looking for :
• Use a different spelling
• Explore translations or equivalents of the name in other languages
• Consider a variant with comparable phonics or spelling
• Use a nickname
• Use their last/middle name
• Use the male/female version
• Asteroid number that resonates with the person

List of name asteroids : complete overview

Name asteroids in aspect

Sun = Core identity activator. They illuminate who we are or who we are becoming. Meeting them can trigger self-recognition, ego inflation, or purpose crises. These people reflect or challenge the native’s central vitality and life direction. Often linked to solar pride, ambition, or the need to be seen.

Moon = Emotional regulator or disrupter. They trigger primal safety needs, attachment wounds, or caregiving dynamics. Their presence often reveals unprocessed family history or unconscious emotional defaults. The bond feels familiar, maternal, or regressive, like home, but also like exposure.

Mercury = Mental stimulant or disruptor. They awaken specific thoughts, ideas, fixations, or internal dialogue loops. Communication becomes symbolic. They often carry news, facilitate a decision, or reveal hidden data. May arrive through writing, messages, or mental telepathy.

Venus = Mirror of desire and value. They evoke beauty, longing, jealousy, or self-worth questions. These people often bring both attraction and insecurity, exposing our style of love, aesthetic preference, or relational projection. They can crystallize our romantic ideals or expose how we bargain for love.

Mars = Provoker of will, conflict, or libido. These people ignite our fight, sexuality, assertion, or resistance. They might catalyze a personal rupture, confrontation, or burst of courage. Mars contacts often mark the beginning of a test of action: do we pursue, protect, or sever?

Jupiter = Expander of belief and contradiction. They amplify our worldview, challenge our moral compass, or expose entitlement, arrogance, or inflated ideals. These people often arrive during moments of internal expansion or self-overreach. Their presence pushes us to reconcile internal contradictions, between abundance and restraint, freedom and responsibility. They can symbolize blessings or reveal where we overestimate ourselves.

–

Saturn = Limiter and lawgiver. These people impose time, consequence, or authority. They often appear when we must face boundaries, endings, or delayed outcomes. They symbolize responsibility, repression, or the long arc of consequence. Through them, we encounter shame, structure, or the final word.

Uranus = Disrupter of order. These figures bring shock, rupture, or awakening. Their entry often corresponds with sudden change, psychic liberation, or a break from what was. They reflect where our lives are restructured by the unexpected. Their presence is electric, destabilizing, or liberating.

Neptune = Dissolver of ego and illusion. These people blur lines between self and other, dream and reality. Their presence may enchant or drown us in longing, addiction, fantasy, or spiritual merging. They impose surrender through confusion, often forcing us to see where we lost sight of truth.

Pluto = Exposer of shadow. These figures arrive with themes of power, compulsion, loss, or obsession. Their impact is subterranean and transformational, often triggering survival fears or profound rebirth. They destroy false structures to reveal hidden truth, whether or not we are ready.

–

Psyche = Soul mirror. These people expose our raw interior, our longing to be seen, wounded, merged, or rescued. They awaken romantic projection, mythic yearning, or erotic ache. The contact often initiates a soul-level test of recognition, vulnerability, or idealization.

Eros = Erotic ignition. These figures trigger visceral desire, aliveness, or creative charge. Their arrival marks a reawakening of lust, boldness, or forbidden attraction. Eros figures push us into instinct, pleasure, or self-expression, sometimes against our own defenses.

Pholus = Trigger of the untamed. These people uncork repressed material. Their influence can be catalytic, spiraling, or wildly disproportionate to the event. They often appear when ancestral patterns, addictions, or karmic taboos are released or exposed through small, irreversible acts.

Sado = Pressure of power and pain. These figures reflect themes of dominance, submission, sadism, or control. They may represent relational cruelty, punishment, or power games, but also teach where we consent, collapse, or reclaim sovereignty through pressure.

Union = Mirror of connection. These people show us where we attempt fusion, whether through partnership, collaboration, or projection. They test our capacity to meet another on equal ground, and reveal where we over-identify with relational ideals or shared identity.

Nessus = Haunting of harm. These figures carry the echo of abuse, betrayal, or toxic fixation. They may not actively harm us, but often carry residue from collective or familial wounding. Their presence initiates cycles of reckoning, boundary collapse, or soul-level confrontation with harm.

Lilith = Rejection wound. These figures surface where we are cast out, defiant, or demonized. They often mark the place where feminine rage, independence, or sexuality was punished or made taboo. Lilith people press the hidden wound of refusal, and the reclamation that follows.

–

ASC = What’s initiated, what’s rising, similarity, impact, birth. Activates the personal emergence axis. They shape your visible personality, how others meet you, or how you step into your life.

IC = What’s hidden, what lingers, what rests, anchor, emotional dimension. Activates the ancestral self. They become embedded in your emotional root system, inner life, or past-life memory.

DSC = What’s sought, what’s mirrored, what’s setting, confrontation, completion. Activates the relational identity. These figures mirror, test, or shape who you are in relationship.

MC = What befalls, what’s destined, direction, legacy. Activates the destiny vector. They influence your reputation, your legacy, or who you are becoming publicly.

Name asteroids in the house

Each house is a domain of lived experience, a threshold where soul meets reality. These are active fields where potential is tested, essence is shaped, and change becomes irreversible. Every house carries a hidden law, and within it, a gift disguised as challenge.
When a nameasteroid falls into a house, a person enters that life domain as a mirror, disruptor, or catalyst. Their presence initiates a process where we always encounter a testing phase followed by the demand of adaptation and finalized by an imprint. Through them, the house is activated, and we are changed, sometimes forever.
The house shows where the transformation plays out. Some people arrive to live the story with us, while others carry the story we must witness. A nameasteroid in a house means they arrive in rhythm with our inner readiness or resistance. What remains after the encounter, whether a scar, a vow, or a deeper truth, is where the gold lives.

1st House
A mirror of projected identity, they define who we must become in response to their existence. These people claim a psychic seat in the front row of our becoming and the paradox of survival in the performance of being seen. You may declare something about love or belonging that feels true but untested. Like a personal truth spoken before living its consequences, a claim without experience. Be mindful when feeling raw, because you might get it, only to know the weight of it. Personal boundaries often blur, you may feel as though you’ve become one with the other. What lingers is a shift in how you see yourself, and how you present yourself to the world. It’s about selfhood, something is revealed that you didn’t know you carried, didn’t know belonged to you. A part of you is returned through encounter.

2nd House
They always distill a relational economy about what we give away reflexively, what we try to keep, and what we later realize we cannot afford. It tests emotional currency and how much of the self is guarded or traded. The soul begins to speak through the body when value, safety, or containment is breached. What is hidden, becomes tangible. Some become anchors of loyalty, others the reason we build walls. Some remain just long enough to echo us, delayed, distorted, or hollow. We confuse this echo for validation, but it is only our own longing thrown back at us. If we do not possess ourselves, we project our worth into their silence, mistaking the echo for recognition. In the end, they shape our priorities through the reevaluation of our attachments.

3rd House
The turning of the tables and another point of view. What’s spoken, argued, mimicked, or rejected. Often, you’ll relive a script you’ve been through before, so that you can redefine and sharpen discernment. To meet them is to meet a cognitive twin, ghost, or disruptor, sent to awaken perception, distort it, or destroy the syntax altogether. They name the script we didn’t know we were reading from. Until we change the language, they remain. It is about rewriting, knowing when and what to express, the power of both words and silence, and what remains is perspective. The synchronicity is merely the part of your own story that you haven’t read. Things seem familiar, but it echoes a known voice, rhythm, behavior, or mental loop. They are marked by “on repeat”, until you understand it.

4th House
They bring back or stir something buried, suspended, unspoken, or forgotten. It re-enters the system through them. Whether early or later in life, the unnamed begins to take shape as if only now something starts to resonate or become explicit. What we couldn’t quite grasp before comes into focus, with enough weight to finally be recognized and defined. They are arrivals of inner disarray within the emotional base, the flashback, the regression, the emotional need. They simply unearth what has always belonged to you or what has always lived within. They inhabit, something is carried, but in the end, the lesson is about containment, to root whatever is returned.

5th house
The language of the heart and the shadow of longing is made visible. These relationships are defined by symbolic casting, and they mirror the self through reversal or projected desire, where the same feelings reemerge. The self is shaped by what it reaches for. These relationships embody the myth of erotic will, performative fixation, and emotional combustion. They come to crown, corrupt, or crucify the heart’s expression, castmates in our most volatile inner drama, carrying the script we secretly wrote about being chosen, admired, betrayed, or exceptional. But what is born from this connection, will endure. They ignite what must be seen and what remains, is your signature of self, style, performance, or creation. It’s about knowing what you love, how you love, and how you receive love.

6th house
They break, regulate, or rewrite our system. Often, among the more difficult relationships, due to an inherent incompatibility in individuals lifestyles, rhythms, routines, personal needs. We work around them, work because of them, or work to forget them. They enter where we are weak, and leave something permanent in how we survive. Unconscious material moves through these bonds. The omens are often explicit and precise. When structures break down, pay attention. It signals that something can’t continue the way it was, like Miley Cyrus’s house burning down while she was with Liam. Reality translates what you refuse to acknowledge. Yes, these connections can be beautiful and functional, but often only after a real adjustment is made, without slipping into overcompensation. Otherwise, the cycle of interruption returns. The goal is to build a system that’s sustainable, one that truly supports those involved.

7th house
A true mirror field, what you encounter in others is your own inner content projected outward, the soul on display. Don’t be misled by synchronicities for they don’t guarantee union. They’re invitations back to yourself. In romantic contexts, many believe they’ve found “the one,” but this is the test of the 7th house. Eventually, you’ll be confronted with your own reflection, and changed by what you see. It’s about recognition, clarity, transparency. They bring you in contact with what you need in a relationship, but they also expose what you don’t dare to admit and vice versa. The pitfall is staying longer than necessary. What you don’t own, you’ll see outside of yourself, until you take it back. What’s false, will return to prove itself through reversal. In the end, it’s about symmetry and the distillation of what’s real, but to achieve that, distance is often necessary to dissolve the projection.

8th house
The most intense relationships often take place here, they unearth. They are typically characterized by a duplication of mutual lack. One has what the other doesn’t and vice versa. They touch what is buried and fundamentally alter who you are. Charged unions that bring themes or eroticism, ancestral residue, trauma, or taboo, and awaken shadow material. Even when love is real, it burns away illusion. These relationships are impossible without collapse for it is the whole reason we you meet them. There is something within that must be redefined, metabolized, transmuted, and changed forever. Listen to the body, for it will speak as somatic feedback.

9th house
These are the people that expand worldview, but also test your ability to know when and what to share, claim, expect, or believe. Excitement may be faster than discernment. Truth is not given, it is earned through lived experience. It may only make sense once distance has done its work, as the truth travels and will arrive in a way that’s unexpected, in ways that require symbolic thinking and decoding beyond human language alone. It reveals the limits of the current, looping as a refracted timeline, a premature expression of what has not yet been lived, a future self arriving too soon, or a past relived through another. In the end, it’s about orientation, sometimes about symbolic cognition.

10th house
The ones that often give reason, but also those who change the direction with a clear before and after effect. It brings themes of comparison, performance, consequence, and often lasting associations. Substitution is a common theme, where they may step in where another failed, wasn’t equipped for what’s ahead, or one paves the way for what’s to come. There’s often an age gap, one being more established than the other, or a symbolic parenting. The relationship may be more about necessity than romanticism, meant to change trajectory, power, image, loyalty. Through them, something becomes visible, broadcast, named.

11th house
A future that speaks before we have the tools to translate them. These are often the relationships that fail when we demand or expect too much, when one’s will is imposed, but that is exactly what they come to test. They are marked by utopian possibility, falling in love with an image beyond who the other truly is, only to meet the reality and sober up. It is the placement where desire must mature, or it ruptures and fractures the vision we once had. These relationships are often larger than those involved, where you are tested in what you are willing to contribute to, beyond ego. It is about clarifying that vision, ensuring it is grounded. Omens are coded, and can often only be translated in ways that defy current methods.

12th house
Time and distance dissolves. These relationships are untimely, ahead of conscious form, often ‘too soon’, ‘at a young age’ or ‘premature’. Themes of personal and private suffering are common, whether as something we carry or something we witness, and it tests what we do we it, how we navigate it, how we grow from it. We experience something, with them, because of them, through them, and it may make no sense at first for it arrives prior to spiritual development. Out of all the names that appear in our 12th house, there is at least one as the imprint-holder, and the seed of that theme is buried in our story, something that its beyond the current. It may carry the echo of what the soul has not metabolized or integrated yet.

Ways to Interpret the NameAsteroids

Nameasteroids can be applied the moment someone enters our awareness, even if they’re a stranger. Small realizations often arise through brief or random encounters. Think about the era we live in:
we scroll through endless faces and names, and suddenly, a reel appears, someone who expresses, explains, or embodies exactly what you’ve been struggling with. That’s not coincidence. That’s nameasteroid code in motion. This is why nameasteroids belong to the current evolutionary process of humanity. As evolution accelerates, our methods and translations must evolve with us.

I have consistently applied nameasteroids to placidus house system, as it offers a more psychologically grounded and personal approach to the horoscope. However, you’re free to experiment with other house divisions.

Nameasteroids by Sign :
The sign of a Nameasteroid reveals the psychological, emotional, and behavioral dynamics that shape a connection. It reflects how we experience the person represented by the name and the lessons they bring into our lives. Each sign embodies a distinct energy, influencing the nature of interactions, challenges, and growth opportunities within the relationship. These give insight into the type of catalyst events we may encounter. In essence, the 12 signs represent the 12 dimensions of consciousness, where a placement becomes a focal point testing to what extend we grasp the lessons and mastery of each sign.

The sign is part of our introspective journey and encourages self-reflection as one of the purposes; Do we engage with this person through the positive or negative qualities of that sign? The sign adds a distinct “flavor” to the individual’s presence, often seen through typical traits that the native perceives most vividly, sometimes even as the preferred way of seeing them. Like house placements, the sign placement offers insight into how well we understand or relate to the sign’s energy. For instance, a nameasteroid in Scorpio may evoke obsessive thoughts or deep jealousy in the native, reflecting Scorpio’s lower vibrational traits, suggesting that learning to release control or old grudges are key to growth and success. Thus, the sign can bring forth stereotypical expressions and recurring issues that demand to be addressed and healed.

Nameasteroids by degree :
There are several astrological methods we can apply to interpret the degree of a nameasteroid. The degree theory developed by Nikola Stojanovic often proves relevant, though typically in a symbolic way. For example, 7° is associated with themes like jewelry, fashion, etiquette, September, and floral motifs. These themes may emerge in the narrative and serve as symbolic cues, revealing how certain elements, objects, places, or people signal hidden messages within the story. This was observed in the case of Shani Louk, where the asteroid Gaza appeared at 8° Capricorn. According to degree theory, 8° corresponds to the desert, the Middle East, sandy terrains, underground spaces, October. From this lens, the 8th degree offered both forensic and symbolic insight. Other systems, such as the Sabian symbols, can also be applied to nameasteroids as additional layers of symbolic meaning.

However, I present the Degree Protocol as the only living system that consistently aligns with how nameasteroids behave across real-life cases. This will be shared in my upcoming book for it is still in development.

Hello! Thank you so much for your free content, your website has been so helpful to my studies!! I have two questions, first, do you offer synastry readings?
Secondly, regarding this post (sorry if you said it and I missed it): What would you say about two name asteroids being conjunct? My partners name asteroid is conjunct my name (his 13 degrees Libra, mine 14 degrees Libra) the conjunction occurs in my 4th house, but in his 12th house. Thanks in advance 🙂

How about “my” asteroid in *my chart, conjunct “his” asteroid in *his chart … ?

My name in my chart: 19*37’ Aquarius, 4H
His name in his chart: 20*16’ Aquarius, 1H

    ALSO 😂

This guy has the SAME NAME as my Ex (of a 20+ year marriage!)
and their name falls @ 5*44’ Sagittarius, in my 1H, EXACTLY CONJUNCT MY POF (5*57’ Sagg)
    AND 😂😂
This 2nd same-name guy’s POF is (7*35’ Sagg,a wee wide, but still!) conjunct mine, though we are six years apart in age

    FINALLY 😂😂💀

My name and guys’ name were exactly conjunct in Cancer on the day our marriage blew up and first guy/ex stormed out (which was a total blessing, no worries!) ✨👀🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️

There are SEVERAL more “coincidences” when other significant names are added as well 🧿 Thank you sooooo much for this article ! ❤️‍🔥

Ex’s named asteroid conjunct my Pluto in 12th Virgo.
He caused me to get several illnesses, and never truly showed himself to me.

The day I broke it off forever, both named asteroid were in exact opposition. The next day his transit named asteroid went retrograde. I have not heard from him since.

Hi, thank you for your interesting comment. I did observe Retrograde nameasteroids.
Retrogrades can represent something that’s “damaged”, delay, re-occurring/returning, someone who may stick around like a push-pull dynamic is a possibility. For what i’ve noticed is that when a name asteroid is RX there may be issues in regards to that person, they’re either struggling with things themselves or the relationship between you has some ups and downs. The sign in which the name asteroid is placed, can show more about what themes these issues may revolve around, or how the person impacts you.

      Hope this was helpful!

      Cheers

it was an enlightening comment (:

that person name lies within cancer in my 9th house, alongside my mars (rx) and my moon

So, I should probably check for the cancer area I’m this case, right?

I LOVE your content!!! Just checked for me and my husband. My PNA is in his 1st house, which I thought is so beautiful. Like I am part of his identity and so on. THEN I read about Nemesis and Nessus and tried them out. Both of them are also in his first house and Nessus is within one degree to my PNA for crying out loud…
