The Lunar Return chart
The Lunar Return occurs every month, when the transit Moon comes back to the exact degrees of your birth Moon.
This is a predictive technique for a whole month. The Lunar Return can bring more clarity within a Solar Return chart, which is loaded with information for a whole year.
The Lunar return charts is a series that relate to each other and it’s useful to interpret such chart along with the LR charts prior to a certain month.
“the monthly beginning of the lunar cycle that started at your birth, which is the cycle of your response to your environment, including your emotions, feelings, interactivity, social well-being, and generally how creatively you react to the challenges and opportunities of life”
• Major monthly themes
• Moon = The body
• Daily events via transit Moon to Lunar planets
• Planets on the angles = Most active/theme
How to interpret a Lunar Return chart
1) House the Moon is in = Area of life that will be fluctuated, activated house
2) ASC = Description about the theme of the month
3) In what house is the ASC ruler located
4) Stellium : House or Sign = Area of life that will be important that month
5) The degree of the ASC = More description about the phase you are in
6) Aspects that occur in both Lunar and Natal chart = Extra important, activation of natal potential
7) NA + LR = Which NA planets receive most aspects from LR
Next step is to use transits on the Lunar Return chart to see when certain points are triggered by the Moon. The Moon is the most important Planet. When it conjuncts to a Planet, Point or Axis within the Lunar Return chart, that area or that energy of the Planet is triggered.
The planets

Using the Lunar Return charts to find an important month
Fast and simple
If your Lunar Return has the same ASC sign as your current Solar Return, it shows this to be the key month of the Solar Year. Research your Solar Return chart for what’s promised to happen within that year, and check how the Lunar Return adds more information on the matter. Aspects that repeat itself become an activation.
Triggers
If your Solar Return chart shows that there will be a new romance within the upcoming year, you can check the Lunar Return charts for those 12 months, and find the triggers. You can do a Synastry of a Lunar Return chart with your Natal chart in order to see where the romantic triggers are. Though, there should be a repeating theme, don’t judge off one chart alone to assume the possibility for romance, check other methods such as Solar Arc, transits,..
The Axis are one of the most important points to take inconsideration.
• LR ASC conjunct DSC or in 7th house of Natal chart
• A fated point of LR conjunct to Natal ASC
• LR Venus conjunct Destin, Vertex, Union, ASC or in 7th house
• Union conjunct Union, ASC, DSC or in 1st or 7th
Most of the time the LR ASC will be Libra, Taurus or Leo in the months that may contain romantic triggers/events.
Personal observations
Often times we tend to look at our own charts from a a narrow lens in which we expect that the 7th house is all about love and relationships, we tend to see what we prefer to see, denying what the charts are trying to show us.
Or when a significant stellium takes place in a specific house, we are hoping it will bring something fortunate.
Most importantly is to stay objective.
When you see Uranus conjunct Venus in the 7th house, what’s the first this popping into your mind…?
Is it a sudden romantic meeting? – Yes, that’s a possibility
But keep in mind when reading a chart, that planets have more than just one meaning.
Such as Uranus, it signifies indeed sudden events, but also awakenings, unconventional matters, change, shock..
And the 7th house, doesn’t just signify romantic interests, but also intimate friendships, business partners, the public, other people in general.
So, seeing Uranus conjunct Venus in the 7th can have various different meanings, such as an unexpected and experimental experience with a close friend, or a colleague, maybe even an open enemy.
See what applies best to your current situation. With Uranus it’s literally predicting the unpredictable, all what we know is that something unusual takes place where other people are involved.
Sometimes you can interpret planets very literally, such as Neptune in the 4th house could show water damage at home.
Uranus conjunct Mars shows sudden sexual experience, if it takes place in the 11th it could show cybersex or sex with a friend, if it’s in the 8th house it shows a transformational sexual experience that’s of unexpected and sudden nature,..
But.. Uranus conjunct Mars may also signify a heated argument or an activity that may have an unexpected turn, something ‘heating up’ fast which may also mean a serious headache or burn out.
Mars conjunct Lilith often shows some sort of sexual frustration. Mars points towards the type of action you’re inclined to, in this example it’s about Lilith themes. Having this conjunction could possibly result in cheating especially if this is true to your reality. The house placement of this conjunction can show what matters are involved, if it’s 9th house it could be a foreign person that’s involved, if it’s in the 11th house it could be a friend or someone from your community or even a ‘fan’ or follower.
Something i’ve noticed to work is the degree theory, especially when you’re curious for more information regards a specific area of life in the month ahead. If you’re concerned about 7th house matters you can look at the degree, if it’s 12 degrees it could mean something secret, secret meetup or even a person from a far away place that’s somehow involved in your intimate relationships.
Take note of planets that are on the last degree of a sign or house as they often have a more prominent manifestation in the month ahead. Such as Uranus on the last degree of the 7th house could indicate something lifechanging in the area of relationships.
The placement of the Ascendant ruler can give more insight into the ‘ease’ of the month ahead. If this planet is strong by house or sign; it shows a good, easy or important period. ASC ruler in an angular house is beneficial. But if the ASC ruler is in a Cadent house especially the 12th , it shows a rather difficult month in which loss or feeling isolated is a possibility. This is amplified if the ASC ruler is opposite to any of the outer planets or the 7th, than a breakup is a possibility, but it should apply to your reality (if the relationship is already weak, this could indicate a month of major challenge).
Inorder to state a breakup from a lunar return chart, many other factors should come into play such as current transits, especially from outer (retrograde) planets, what does the solar return indicate and what’s the position of Venus in the Lunar return, is she being challenged?
Try to stay realistic is my advice, because very easily we tend to drift off into assumptions stated out of a desire we have.
That Northnode being the apex planet of a Kite in the 7th house, with Venus involved, won’t save your ass necessary..
It often just means a fated experience with a partner or ex, something that kickstarts inner transformation..
Will be continued.. .. more research needed
